The subdomain predominantly captures enclosed spaces that are physically challenging to navigate through, either due to the size of the enclosed space or the obstacles within that constrain movement. However, the subdomain also captures some enclosed spaces where the focus is not on the physical challenge but rather the experience while navigating through that enclosed space. This experience could take the form of sliding through a tunnel, stimulating or calming the senses, or simply becoming comfortable with being in an enclosed space for someone who is claustrophobic.
